The cage in Sic Bo was called the birdcage and that term is still used today. It would take another 40+/- years for the game to become popular in US casinos. In 1937 Macau monopolized commercial gambling by awarding all games to Companhia Tai Heng. By 1960 Stanley Ho, along with his enterprise STDM, bid and won the monopoly.
